Contracted to work for oil and gas companies as an in-house Surface Landman • Collaborate with the Area of Interest (AOI) team on all surface related development • Plan, coordinate, and execute workload and processes with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and State Land Office (SLO) in New Mexico • Manage third party contractors, surveyors, etc. in routing pipelines, powerlines, flow lines, and water transfer lines • Interpret and enforce lease rights, surface rights, and obligations to ensure compliance • Resolve surface damages with landowners and third-party companies • Accountable for permitting activities associated with the company’s operations (i.e, entrance permits, road bore permits, water usage, and transfer permits) • Document and secure necessary SF-299, Application for Entry, Application for Use Easements, right of ways, and surface use agreements with the BLM and SLO to optimize the development and operation of the Company’s land holdings • Responsible for notifying exploration and production personnel of all upcoming lease obligations related to the surface operations • Provide any other surface land support as required
