Serving as an Internal Audit, Risk, and Control SME, working with the transformation team assigned to design and execute new core enhancements initiatives at Citi Risk and Controls Inventory to Simplify, Standardize, and Automat operational processes within a wide variety of operational Assessment Units. • Completing in-depth collaborations and cooperations with independent compliance (ICRM), Risk Officers, and In Business Controls experts, then mapping ICRM approved Publications and Obligations, Identifying, and mapping Critical Applications, External Vendors to the updated A-R-C-Ms. • Re-designing operational processes by identifying, enhancing, and consolidating a wide variety of Activity, Risk, Controls, and Monitoring (A-R-C-M), then updating the Risk and Controls Inventory in the System of Records at the relevant Assessment Units with the enhanced A-R-C-M statements. • Completing Controls Design assessments and testing key controls effectiveness (CMDAs), resulting in core enhancements to inadequate controls, while addressing the root causes that led to operational risk losses. • Validating Correction Action Plans which were a result of Self-Identified gaps and Internal Audit findings. • Drafting reports that articulated the results and recommendations of completed testing. • Mentored and provided technical training to the newly hired operational Risk Officers.
