   In this current role, I install, configure, backup, migrate, and patch various versions of SQL server 20••••17 for over physical and virtual instances. I manage remote login to Virtual Machines to troubleshoot and deploy applications on SAAS environment. I maintain Windows 2012 servers, troubleshoot IP issues, and manage ticketing system of Rackspace to resolve issues with cloud management third party team. I automate various forms of backups, migrations, and upgrades through DB tools and native backup Scripts. I test and optimize queries as well as upgrade, troubleshoot DTS and SSIS packages. I contribute in the process to implement, document, and regularly test business continuity measures, enabling continue operations of systems identified in accordance with corporate Disaster Recovery program. I execute software upgrades and new software installation, including any necessary patches to database systems and applications to ensure continuing stable and secure operation. I track database changes by utilizing tools like Netwrix (network monitor) and change data capture. I automate scripts to clean-up old one-off backups stored on random database servers. • Enhanced database performance from 2mins to under 5secs by working round the clock to get issues fixed. • Installed, designed, upgraded, and optimized performance of databases required to operate Allscripts\' software solutions on both Cloud and on-prem environment. • Acted as Team member for migrating Confidential on Amazon Web Confidential (AWS). • Collaborated with development teams in the data modelling and database design of product and efficient SQL for fast application performance on our SAAS and on-prem environment. • Maintained Shared SQL server instance in virtualized environment by verifying SCSI mappings and appropriate NUMA nodes for optimal resource utilization. • Developed and configured SSRS reporting servers and SSIS packages for ETL loads to enable report writers upload and manage RDL\'s.
