Exploring Nerve Reinnervation site following Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR): Transfemoral amputee require coordinated control of the knee and ankle to walk with stability. However, finding a proper site to collect neural controls for ankle movement is difficult. TMR patients have their tibial nerve and common peroneal nerve reinnervated to proximal semitendinosus and biceps femoris muscle, providing additional surface to collect nerve information from. Goal of this project is to find muscle activity information related to ankle control for transfemoral amputee.• Real-Time Visual Feedback System for Amputee Dexterity Measurement: Created a system to provide real-time visual feedback for measuring the dexterity of transtibial and transfemoral amputees.• Haptic Feedback for Patients with Muscle Disorders: Developed an EMG-informed real-time haptic feedback system to enhance the sensory experience for patients with muscle disorders.
