ABOUT SHADI HAMBO
Shadi is a PhD candidate at Harb\'s Lab, Institute for Medical Microbiology and Virology, University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus, TU Dresden (1,2). He holds a holds a master\'s degree in Molecular Biology of The Cell 2021 (3, 4). He is a winner of ACASI scholarship 20••••18 and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy scholarship (MAECI) in 20••••19 and 20•••••05). Shadi is an active volunteer since 2013. Currently, he is the general coordinator of the German - Syrian Research Society (DSFG) and served as a manager of the human resources department. Previously, he was a board member for two cycles from 2021 to 2025. He established several teams within the society such as design, and social media teams. Moreover, he was the DSFG representative at BRiDGE Step II project (6). Previously, he joined Syrian Researchers network as a scientific translator. During his four years voluntearing period in the network, he improved and learned how to proofread, and design. Later, he managed the team and became an executive board member for 3 years (7, 8). Besides, he is highly experienced in English to Arabic translation, editing and proofreading (Medical, biological, pharmacological and industrial fields), and a freelance translator at Amazon since 2017.
