ABOUT SHADI ASHTARI

I am Community Innovation Coordinator with more than ten years experience delivering settlement and employment services to immigrants, providing inclusive support to the community with excellent performance and respect to diversity. I have more than seven years experience developing, implementing, and facilitating innovative workshops based on the community needs, agency’s goals and funder’s budget with achievements beyond the targets. Also, I am in charge of conducting activities to empower professional immigrant women in Canada collaborate with this field\'s experts. I have strong passion to support immigrants with multiple barriers to identify their skills and find a job based on their short term and long term goals. l have Certificate in Employment counselling Ethics and theories from BCCDA as well as Basic Counseling Skills from Vancouver Community College. I am a lifelong learner who is skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, settlement/ employment, job mentoring, facilitating workshops, event planning, customer service, conflict resolution, and coordinating programs.
