ABOUT SHAD VERMEESCH

I began my architectural career in 1994 in commercial design with an emphasis on retail. I joined BRR in 1998, where I worked with Walmart to help develop a new store concept, the Neighborhood Market. Since then, I have worked on the design and production for the site adaptation of Walmart Supercenters, Sam’s Clubs and the Neighborhood Markets nationwide. In 2002, I became the Regional Manager for the Eastern and Western parts of the United States and helped to grow the national Walmart Site Adapt Team. In an effort to better serve our clients, BRR opened an office in Phoenix, Arizona in 2005. With an eye on customer service, I moved to Phoenix to manage the office and was named Associate. I have since been instrumental in the development of new clients including several Mixed-Use Developments. I currently serve as the Principal-in-Charge of the Phoenix Office and am responsible for the programming, site planning, design, consultant coordination and construction contract administration for multiple commercial mixed-use projects ranging in size up to 180 acres throughout the Western United States.
