About Shachi Kakkar
My aspiration is to someday pursue a career in Technology Sales/Marketing or Product Management utilizing my technical background to supplement my career, allowing me to pursue a much wider array of projects. As can be seen in my resumé below, I have aimed to take on a wide variety of projects that demonstrate the many different skills I have learnt throughout my career and through my coursework. I view engineering and technical marketing/sales as two sides of the same coin, on one side it is important to understand the product at a fundamental level to position the product in the market properly, and on the other side you need to be sociable and enterprising enough to draw an audience for your product. Constantly being able to employ my skills in effective leadership and communication, as well as critical and analytical thinking make me a great candidate for any position in Technical Sales/Marketing.
