I currently work as a client analytics lead - Senior CAT in the Analytics team with Aon. With an overall experience of around the 12+ years in Catastrophe modelling.Job Description - • Lead Analyst for Client projects in the GMC (globally managed clients) analytics team and managing the projects from Aon - based in London.• Analysing risks involved in the client portfolio and modelling the same in the commercially available licensed vendor models like RMS Risklink, AIR Touchstone, RQE, ERN etc.• Understanding the clients property exposure and analyse them across the vendor models to extractthe Client Losses, Exceedance probability losses, Average annual loss and prepare loss reports.• Understanding Reinsurance structure applications and coding them in vendor models during analysis.• Preparing synopsis and observations, and then reporting the data for further business placement which facilitates and affects premium generation, business expansions and reinsurance treaty wordings.Skill sets:• Good programming skills in SQL, Advanced MS Excel (Macros).• Global geo-spatial exposure assessment using Spatial key & GIS platforms.• Event Responses for live catastrophe events using Spatial Key.• Treaty knowledge on CATXL, Surplus, Quota Share and Facultative reinsurance.• Good spoken & written communication skills in English.• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.• Organizing, scheduling and managing a team to create a productive work environment.• Always eager to learn and handle responsibilities.
