About Saurabh Gupta
I am an Assistant Professor in School of Construction at NICMAR University, Pune, with a PhD in Infrastructure Engineering and Management from IIT Kanpur. My work lies at the intersection of construction project management, automation in construction, and resilient infrastructure systems, with research spanning simulation-based project scheduling, UAV and satellite-based infrastructure monitoring, and AI-driven post-disaster damage assessment. Previously, I worked with the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), contributing to global research programmes and knowledge products on infrastructure resilience. I am also a University Gold Medalist in M.Tech (Construction Technology and Management) from Bhopal and a recipient of multiple national and international research awards and patents. I am passionate about translating research into deployable solutions for industry and public-sector infrastructure systems through interdisciplinary collaboration.
