Steve Greenberg is a veteran attorney-advisor capturing intellectual property (IP) rights on behalf of clientele across a wide array of technological domains for more than twenty-five years. Acting in roles ranging from attorney, to investor, to advisor, to member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Greenberg adapts the capture and management of innovations within the client organization to the strategic objectives of the organization, while guiding pivots in business plan and in the go-to-market plan in order to address changing conditions in the technological landscape of the organization.The legal aspect of those efforts generally includes global patent portfolio design, development and management; domestic and foreign patent prosecution; patent portfolio market analysis and divestiture; patent post-issuance proceedings including re-examination; patent infringement and invalidity analyses and opinions; and intellectual property due diligence in private equity and mergers and acquisitionsAs to patent rights, Mr. Greenberg has written and/or prosecuted many thousands of new patent applications on behalf of clients ranging in size from early stage enterprises to Fortune 50. As well, globally, Mr. Greenberg has coordinated the filing and prosecution to grant of patent applications throughout Europe and Scandinavia, the British Isles, the United States, Japan, Korea (ROK), India, China, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Israel and the Gulf States.Aside from the practice of law, Mr. Greenberg is an inventor, having granted several patents across the globe in respect to spinal surgical tools on behalf of Ardent Medical Corporation. Mr. Greenberg also is an inventor in respect to several patent grants in the mobile computing space on behalf of the Fast Dog company-a domestic IP think tank. Of import, Mr. Greenberg has acted as advisor and investor to several organizations including the Miami Innovation Fund, the Chennai Innovation Fund and as a member of the Senior Executive Advisor network of Argand Partners, a New York City and San Francisco based private equity firm. Finally, Mr. Greenberg is an investor and an advisor to Spiritus Technologies, a technical startup investigating novel techniques in the direct air capture and sequestration of CO2 on an industrial scale. Likewise, Mr. Greenberg is an investor in and member of the Supervisory Board of Directors of Cherry SE, a leading global manufacturer of computer input devices with a focus on office, gaming, industry, security, eHealth solutions and switches for mechanical keyboards.
