Since Sergio Govoni has been a software developer; in he got a degree in Computer Science at Università degli Studi in Ferrara (Italy).He has worked for over 22 years in Centro Software, the software house that produces the best ERP for manufacturing companies that are export oriented. Over these years he developed the following software modules: warehouse and goods movement, logistic management with radio frequency devices, tracing and workflow control. The project he is developing at the moment is the refactoring of the ERP core framework.He has been working on SQL Server from 7.0 version and he has a deep knowledge of implementation and maintenance of relational databases, performance tuning and problem solving skills.He also works for training people to SQL Server and its related technologies, writing articles and participating actively, as a speaker, at conferences and workshops organized by his company, Microsoft and UGISS that is the first and most important Italian SQL Server User Group. Since 2016 he is the vice president of the UGISS the provided help to technical communities and for sharing his own experience, since 2010 he has received the Microsoft Data Platform MVP award.During 2011 he contributed to write the book SQL Server MVP Deep Dives Volume 2
