Passionate about the intersection of education and biomedical engineering, I\'m a sophomore at the University of South Carolina working on a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. With a strong academic foundation, as evidenced by my 3.6 GPA and Academic Scholar - Excellence Award Scholarship, I\'ve honed my leadership and interpersonal skills through diverse experiences such as being an Eagle Scout, an All State Men’s Volleyball Team Member, and a member of the Student Athlete Leadership Team at Hunterdon Central High School. In my professional life, I\'ve embraced the role of an Assistant Teacher at Precious Gems Academy, where I\'ve nurtured the educational and social development of young minds, fostering an inclusive classroom environment. As a Peer Tutor, I\'ve also helped fellow students grasp challenging calculus concepts, demonstrating my commitment to supporting others in their educational journey. Currently, I serve as the University Relations Chair for Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Fraternity, where I strengthen our presence on campus and empower members with essential professional skills through career development workshops. My passion for research led me to conduct a survey-based study on artificial pancreas systems for individuals with type 1 diabetes, showcasing my dedication to innovative solutions in healthcare.
