About Santhoshini Gongidi

Hi there!The only constant in my past choices is a curiosity for solving new problems. At CMU, my research delves into 3D foundation models for robotic applications, testing the hypothesis that geometry-aware robot policies provide more feasibility to build general purpose robots. These projects have sparked my next curiosity: how can we efficiently build scalable AI models for applications like robotics, personalised content generation on phones, or wearable AI devices?Previously, I spent 3 years at CVIT, Hyderabad under Prof. C. V. Jawahar, gaining hands-on experience across Seq2Seq models, multimodal understanding, and domain adaptation, and 2.5 years at Micron Technology, where I was promoted to senior engineer while developing ML and computer vision solutions, from dataset creating to developing inference pipelines over Google Cloud. Working in these high-performing teams taught me the value of teams, defining the right problem, persistence.
