Building upon the responsibilities and activities of my previous role as Principal Security Architect, I have a focus on ensuring the adoption and alignment of standards and controls across the Advania group as-is and as we continue to grow through transformative acquisitions. In addition to developing and steering baseline standards and policies, I hold a seat on our GRC as an authority on Information Security and technical governance and support and drive our compliance audits and assessments (e.g. ISO/SOC2/CE+/SAQs/RFPs).My daily tasks include the sanitation, remediation and guidance on security disciplines and to ensure cohesive awareness and alignment to the principles and controls required across all our teams throughout all group entities. I evaluate and steer remediation for CVEs, sanitise threat intelligence and post-pentest (CE/CE+) guidance, often with frank and unbiased discussions with principal stakeholders as well as leading and consulting on incident response for critical issues.I am the SME for our remote access solutions (BeyondTrust and Datto RMM), designing and building the necessary technical foundations and aligning operator and vendor access against governed PAM / RBAC / PIM policies and workflows and act as a technical mentor for engineers requiring escalated assistance and bespoke client guidance; I also aid the in-house development of all engineers and help to provide technical sign-off on prospective architects, engineers and analysts.
