About Elian Strachan
My future as the US Army Chaplain Corps Regimental Sergeant Major began on June 30th. Leaders coached, mentored, and trained me for 30 years and developed and prepared me for such a Sacred opportunity as this. On August 5th, I completed the Nominative Leaders Course, which I see as the final step in my onboarding process. That process began with a May 10th report to the Pentagon, a May 30th to June 3oth left-seat observation, and a right-seat observation from June 30th until graduating from the #nominativeleaderscourse. My priorities are the same as the Chief of Chaplains:#1 People and #2 Community. As the Senior Enlisted Religious Affairs Specialist in the Army, my calling is to help develop skilled professional Religious Affairs Specialists who are READY!
