Position Summary: Responsible for overall Human Resource administration company-wide.Some Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: • Recruit, screen applicants, and make hiring decisions. Continual evaluation of hiring methods to ensure we recruit the best possible candidates• Coordinate Annual, and Periodic Review process for entire company• Analyze data to ensure pay and total rewards are in line with market by continually evaluating job duties and pay structures.• Created Point-Factor Pay range chart from scratch• Keep up with legal changes that might affect employment laws and keep company in compliance• Maintain knowledge of employment trends, legislation and litigation to ensure corporate compliance with Federal, State and local laws by attending seminars and webinars on a regular basis.• Review and make recommendations to Executive Management for improvement of policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters.• Communicate changes in policies and procedures as necessary.• Consult with legal counsel when appropriate on employee relation matters. • Provide strategic advice to CEO as member of the management team• Assist with Staff Development, Succession Planning, and Replacement Planning to ensure highly skilled positions are filled with qualified team members now and in the future.• Health and Safety Program Coordinator• Handle employee benefit administration, including annual open enrollment, as well as changes during the year and at termination.• Lead company Wellness initiatives• Update Employee Handbook as necessary• Complete all processes of in-house Payroll Administration up to but not including tax payments and bank transfers• Assist with conflict resolution when issues arise• Strive to maintain positive work atmosphere for all team members• Plan company picnics, outings, appreciation events, etc.
