With a career spanning over two decades and four continents, I have built a track record of delivering innovative solutions in public transportation, infrastructure planning, and operations management. From the bustling cities of London, Lagos and Dubai to the dynamic transit systems of Kuwait, Uganda, and Australia, my work has been driven by a passion for enhancing mobility and creating sustainable transportation networks.Currently, as General Manager at WeDriveU, I oversee the operations and maintenance of the Charlotte Area Transit System bus system, with a responsibility of $100M+ budget. My previous roles include Director of Operations at Kuwait’s largest public transport operator and Chief Specialist at Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, where I contributed to projects like the Dubai Expo 2020 and implemented transformative technologies to improve service delivery.Throughout my career, I’ve led large-scale initiatives such as Africa’s largest urban bus reform project in Lagos, delivering $180M in infrastructure and fleet upgrades, and spearheading strategic transportation frameworks in Australia, including Logan City’s $2.5B Roads Infrastructure Plan. My expertise extends to transit planning/operations, P&L management, workforce management, stakeholder engagement, use of big data analytics and the deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions to boost operational efficiency.Whether restructuring business operations, managing diverse teams of over staff, or driving multimillion-dollar projects, I bring a global perspective and a solutions-driven mindset to every challenge. My work consistently bridges the gap between visionary planning and practical execution, ensuring long-term impact for cities and communities worldwide.I’m passionate about collaborating with stakeholders to create smarter, more sustainable transit systems that meet the evolving needs of modern urban environments.
