With over nine years of experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision, I have spent my career bridging the gap between complex deep learning architectures and practical, industrial value. Currently, as a Machine Learning Scientist at CHEP, I am driving the evolution of our technical capabilities—transitioning from pure Computer Vision solutions to next-generation Visual Language Models (VLMs) and Agentic workflows.My recent focus has been on leveraging these Agentic models to translate raw visual data into user-friendly, actionable reports, making AI accessible to non-technical stakeholders. I pride myself on owning the complete end-to-end project lifecycle, including: Problem Formulation: Translating business pain points into technical roadmaps. Data Strategy: Overseeing data collection and curation. Development: Model training and refinement using Python and CNNs. Deployment: Implementing solutions in edge computing environments with limited connectivity. Analysis: rigorous performance monitoring and optimization.Having successfully operated as a Technical Lead delivering complex proof-of-concepts, I am now seeking opportunities to step into Engineering Management roles where I can guide high-performing teams while continuing to drive technical innovation.

   We have a diverse and growing team at CHEP. Due to the highly industrialized nature of the company, projects are defined and delivered in a different light. Since internet connection is limited at plant locations, one has to consider several factors when designing and training models. My work includes developing computer vision models for object segmentation and image generation, as well as architecting AI agent Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to deliver critical, high-level insights from complex data. Proficient in leveraging full-stack tools, including platforms like GraphChain, to build end-to-end solutions.
