ABOUT SEWORDOR TOKLO

First and foremost, I am a passionate advocate for humanity, driven by a deep love for people. As a multifaceted individual, I am a proud researcher, scholar, political scientist, economist, and philosopher. My journey has been shaped by interest in advocacy and a burning desire to catalyze positive change.Having grown up in an environment where minority voices are often silenced and resources disproportionately distributed, I am determined to dedicate my life to initiatives that bring about transformation for ordinary individuals. My academic pursuits have taken me across continents, from my undergraduate studies in Kumasi, Ghana, to my master\'s degree in Moscow, Russia, and currently, my Ph.D. journey in Edmonton, Canada.Throughout my travels, I have witnessed the incredible potential of humanity to coexist harmoniously and drive meaningful progress in their lives. As a Black or African scholar, I am acutely aware of the need to empower and uplift our communities, harnessing our God-given talents to build a brighter future.My research interests lie at the intersection of African studies, African politics, gender politics, political behavior, corruption, community engagement, and both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. I am deeply committed to fostering inclusivity, diversity, and societal well-being through my academic endeavors, striving to make a tangible difference in the lives of those around me.I embrace the journey of continuous learning as it shapes me into a better person with each passing moment.
