Hugg & Hall was formed in Arkansas as Lift Truck Sales & Service, a distributor of Clark Equipment Co. industrial forklifts, eventually updating their name to Clarklift of Arkansas. John Hugg & Robert Hall purchased the company from Charles Hugg in 1990 and, with a subsequent acquisition, began doing business as Hugg & Hall. Since, Hugg & Hall has acquired Arkla Taylor, Westquip, RPM Services and Rental and Southern Material Handling Company, expanding their operation to 18 locations serving Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. Today, Hugg & Hall employs more than 700 dedicated professionals and is among the largest small businesses in the South.
