ABOUT SEUN DAVID ODERINDE

As a highly skilled project leader and experienced engineer, I believe in doing more with less. I am passionate about bringing continuous improvement and excellence to processes, people, and the planet. I repeatedly ask the question, “Is this the best we can do?”, I employ analytical and strategic thinking to drive efficiency in an organization by making complex tasks simpler and easier to solve.I lead by example and show genuine interest in the personal and professional growth of my team to inspire them to greatness. My involvement in two multi-billion dollar engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) projects within the upstream oil and gas sector, and working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline, and multi-location environment had enriched my experience and helped me develop a curious mind to learn from everyone and everything. My key achievements include: optimizing technical solutions to operational issues to achieve cost savings and meet safety and production targets; planning and coordinating offshore intervention projects with capital and operating cost savings worth several hundreds of thousands of dollars annually; interfacing with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and constraints in delivering bespoke solutions; managing changes and expectations using risk assessment and engagement of management team and key stakeholders to minimize delays and cost overrun.I love reading and training others. I also enjoy traveling, as it allows me to learn about other cultures, people, and foods.
