ABOUT SETH VAN KATWYK

Hello, my name is Seth Van Katwyk, and I am currently a full-time Project Engineer at New West Building Company based out of Jackson, Wyoming.Throughout my life, I have considered studying different fields of work. I have thought about being a Mechanical Engineer, a Photographer, and even a Weatherman. They were all fascinating, however something just didn\'t click. Right out of high school, I worked as a laborer for a local general contractor. It was hard work, but it was the most satisfying job I ever had. While in school, I noticed they taught Construction Management, and I quickly learned the satisfaction I found when as a laborer was also found in the field of Construction Management. I have not looked back since.While attending BYU-Idaho, I have been the Project Manager for a team competing in the Associated School of Construction (ASC), I will continue through school to graduate and receive my Bachelor\'s Degree, and I plan to work as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer for a company that I can push to a higher level, fitting into their culture, and be inspired to a better person.
