Oversee, develop and execute a departmental recruitment plan by analyzing data on vacancies and high turnover rates among classifications, preparing comprehensive and complex reports, communicating with programs and management to ascertain recruitment needs, collaborate on the yearly examination and recruitment plan, make recommendations to management on effective recruitment strategies. Conduct targeted outreach to potential candidates by identifying ideal candidate groups, developing relationships with universities. Present and make recommendations to executive management on progress and statistics and the most difficult to fill vacancies and classifications to decrease DDS\'s vacancies and attract the best talent. Place ads through LinkedIn, Indeed, and various university job boards, research creative job sourcing opportunities for all internal positions, screen and source candidates. Consult with directors and hiring managers on all recruitment policies and strategies. Develop a pipeline consisting of short and long term staffing and placement needs. Participate as HR representative on various trade interview panels throughout California. Research, develop and maintain DDS\'s Succession and Workforce Plan by facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with Management to target positions, research applicable codes, rules and regulations, perform gap analysis, and presenting data to ensure DDS\'s operational and organizational sustainability.
