I lead an 8:30 a.m. Sunday School class that blends faith-based education with interactive learning and storytelling. Through structured lessons and creative activities, I help students build a deeper understanding of Scripture and Christian values. Beyond teaching, I aim to help children grow confident in their faith and in who they are by encouraging them to be steadfast examples of love and hope in a culture that often challenges those virtues. This role continues to strengthen my leadership and communication skills while offering a meaningful way to serve the next generation of believers.

ABOUT SETH HEWETT
Over the past few years, I have focused on building strong relationships across community organizations, public service efforts, and volunteer work. I studied Communication Studies at Westmont College and later moved into roles centered on relationship management, community engagement, and collaborative problem solving.I currently serve Bakersfield through the City Hall fellowship program within the Fire Department. I am President-Elect of Kern Kiwanis and I am actively involved in international missionary projects supporting children and families. I am also pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at USC to better understand how local government can serve people effectively and responsibly.I am running for Bakersfield City Council in Ward 3 with a focus on community engagement, practical service, and strengthening the connection between residents and their local government.
