IBM zSeries Server I/O Hardware Development Delivery Lead. Responsible for the integration of I/O hardware with firmware and software through test and manufacturing.Seth is a local authority on switch, PCIe, I/O hardware design and test. He has been a key contributor to IBM’s p and z Series Server product development. He is an expert in Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design and has led the successful development and delivery of critical switch ASICs for both z and p series Servers. He has unique skills that bridge high level architecture with ASIC and firmware design, execution, and test. He has attained the leadership skills to drive the execution of not only the development of ASICS, but also the delivery of an entire I/O subsystem to release. He is a highly motivated leader who is driven to execute both chip and system delivery milestones. As a recognized expert in Server development and test, he not only drives hardware designers on his team, but is routinely sought out by those in hardware, firmware, system test, program management, and executive management to aid in resolving problems and to advise on future design/product direction.
