ABOUT SETH CHOPRA

I am a dedicated and driven young professional with a strong passion for learning and personal development. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Waterloo, I am eager to apply my knowledge and experiences in team-based environments to a corporate setting.Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have honed key skills such as leadership, communication, and analytical thinking. My experience as a Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Deck Supervisor with the Town of Oakville has taught me how to manage responsibilities effectively, ensure safety, and provide exceptional customer service under pressure. Additionally, working as a Kitchen Crew Member at McDonald\'s, I developed strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.At university, I am actively involved in extracurricular activities such as the Accounting and Finance Student Association (AFSA) and the Financial Literacy Club (FLC). Through my role on the AFSA Administration and Knowledge Management Team, I contribute to improving student engagement by managing surveys, organizing resources, and facilitating smooth operations. As a member of the FLC Content Creation Team, I develop educational materials and competition questions to promote financial literacy among high school students.I am also an active participant in intramural soccer, where I continue to foster teamwork, strategic thinking, and collaboration in a competitive environment.I am excited to use my diverse skill set and experiences to contribute meaningfully in a professional setting, always striving for excellence and continuous improvement.
