I oversee the implementation of the current and next generation ultrasound systems, develop research platforms on Windows and Mac OS, and supervise the imaging systems team that comprises GPU engineers, ultrasound scientists and software engineers. I am a key contributor to the Due-Diligence efforts for investor board meetings, and I am actively involved in the SERIES funding efforts.Technical activities include imaging system development for the Exo IRIS platform a handheld 2D matrix ultrasound transducer, image optimization, advanced imaging features, and AI for image enhancement. The AI pipeline is developed for iOS, windows, and macOS platforms using traditional supervised deep learning networks as well as GANs. I am also responsible for the development of a Research Software Development Kit that allows collaborations with multiple companies. The SDK allows image quality assessment tools, simulation and emulation tools, and tools that enable prototyping of advanced features such as 4D imaging, tri-harmonic imaging, and other advanced features. I supervise the entire systems part of the development by managing individual teams for front-end, back-end, AI pipeline development, and imaging mode optimization. I manage the schedule and content of the systems part of the software and hardware releases. I also manage the development process of the new platform by collecting marketing requirements, setting technical requirements and specifications of the sub-systems, and managing the release development process.
