20 Fund was born from the struggles of 2020, a year that tested us all. Women bore an immense burden during this time: balancing work, parenting, and household duties around the clock. At Fund20, we believe that women are capable of doing it all, but they shouldn\'t have to. Acting as a catalyst for Italian female disruptors, we\'re hands-on and collaborative investing in pre-seed and seed stage, sustainability-focused, female founded companies headquartered in Italy.From funding, mentoring, resources and community connections, we provide idea-to-exit support and solutions for female founders so they may maximize their impact and grow their businesses.

ABOUT SERRA ELIZABETH GOLDMAN BONANNO FALK
My exposure to the power and potential of female leadership started early. My mother, an estate planning attorney, founded a legal firm which guided families through the estate and tax planning and administration process. Being in the Silicon Valley, many clients were entrepreneurs requiring unique tax and estate planning. I followed in my mother’s footsteps, and became a certified estate planning, trust and probate lawyer. I built my career on supporting women in tax and estate planning and saw firsthand the opportunity of women-run enterprises.In 2017, my family suffered a tragedy which forced me to shift my life focus. I pivoted from a career in law to caring for myself and my young son, and recentered my work towards creating a life of consequence. Though I no longer practiced within the bounds of an estate planning legal firm, I used my expertise and my experience to help women, and to work towards closing the socio-economic wealth divide through systemic change. My role as a board member for Alliance for Justice, Prosperity Now, and Experience Camps, allows me to address some of the most pressing issues facing our culture today, and has also allowed me to create a network of seasoned business and legal professionals with shared interests.With the same ethos and desire to affect the lives of women through systemic change, I decided to co-found the 20Fund with my husband, Pietro. I am fortunate enough to support brilliant women from an idea to an exit by providing financial support, my network and my experience.
