I provide end-to-end IT support within a global hedge fund environment, supporting over 900 users across EMEA and 3,800+ users globally, including front-office, research, and operations teams.My role focuses on delivering stable, secure, and high-performance end-user computing services in latency-sensitive trading environments, ensuring minimal disruption during market hours. I support and administer Citrix VDA deployments across physical and virtual machines and maintain VMware-based virtual desktops, with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and user experience.I carry out Active Directory administration, including user lifecycle management, OU placement, security groups, and Group Policy alignment, ensuring access controls meet security and compliance standards. I also act as a Triage Coordinator, prioritising incidents via Jira Service Management, managing escalations, and balancing workload across the EUC team based on business impact and SLAs.Alongside operational support, I contribute to high-impact initiatives such as an enterprise Windows 11 rollout across EMEA, a migration to Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, and the development of a global IT knowledge base to reduce repeat incidents and improve resolution times.I also designed and built an internal System Information Utility Tool to improve remote troubleshooting. The tool enables EUC engineers to securely retrieve system information such as hardware details, installed applications, running processes, and services, with the ability to safely manage processes when required. I used AI-assisted development with Cursor to accelerate delivery and built the solution as a lightweight Electron application, which was deployed to the wider EUC team to improve efficiency and consistency.I work closely with infrastructure, security, and global IT teams, as well as supporting C-suite executives and senior investment professionals, where discretion, responsiveness, and trust are essential.
