About Serine Melikyan
Hello everyone,My name is Serine Melikyan and I am currently starting my Masters at California State University, Northridge. I have obtained my Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minoring in Human Lactation from CSUN. I am also hoping to obtain my IBLCE (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners) soon! I am highly motivated and interested in working within the medical field and have hopes of being a part of the nursing field. I want to become a nurse and gradually extend my career after I become a nurse and open my own nursing clinic or nursing home. I want to make a positive impact on the community especially those who are apart of the low income neighborhoods. I also aim to obtain a BSN and MSN to have a greater chance in furthering my future career.With the knowledge, skills, and abilities that I have gained from the courses I have taken for my major, I have a wide understanding of how healthcare policy, planning, deciding, promoting care, and be efficient with the information to help those in need. To be able to prevent, protect and promote the community. With the work experience I have working with children, I would like to implement that into my future career as well. As a nurse, I would like to work with all ages to help them out and to help them get better.
