About Sergio Paez
My name is Sergio Paez, and I am a first-generation Venezuelan American from Miami, Florida studying Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Creation, from an early age, inspired me to explore the depths of what is possible. My favorite method of translating my inner thoughts is this usage of ideas and resources around me to form anything into existence. I first practiced this method through the likes of putting technic beam to technic beam together with FIRST LEGO League Robotics.As I grew older, the world of Engineering and Computer Science was made known to me, which I found would allow me to go further with my imagination and begin to make dreams into impactful realities. Whether through the mechanical elements of designing parts on SolidWorks, or the endless imaginative possibilities of programming, I grew to love design, application, and problem solving. These passions have served as a segue into my Computer Engineering aspirations. As I move forward in my journey, I look to immerse myself in the ever-evolving complexities of modern software and hardware that are shaping the world. I strive to develop the critical thinking, technical, and leadership skills needed to further contribute to the ever-evolving landscape of technology for the benefit of humanity.
