Successfully managed and handover over 60MW of Solar PV.Actually managing 70MW and one of the biggest UK solar PV Sites.Key responsibilities and tasks-Responsible for the overall performance of the projects, its resources and the site O&M team from PAC to FAC-Calculation of PR and Availability-Manage project handover between EPC and O&M-Maintain good relationships with Utilities, insurance companies, asset management companies and subcontractors-Create and resolve punch-lists items-Organize and Plan the O&M tasks defined in accordance with the agreed O&M contract (including Ground Maintenance)-Oversee production using SCADA ensuring that plants operate within design parameters in a reliable, safe and efficient manner-Coordinate and resolve operational abnormalities-Search, find and use resources looking for the most cost-effective way to achieve the best results-Responsible for the H&S operation of the plant, giving site inductions and documentation-Implement preventive/predictive maintenance plan to ensure long term profitability and plant reliability-Manage financial aspects of the project, creating quotations and purchase orders-Negotiation of equipment issues under warranty-Diagnose and troubleshoot various site issues as inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, communication issues, etc-Create, review and distribute weekly, monthly and annual reports-Participate in an on-call rota to attend the site in case there is an issue during the weekend or bank holidays-Manage the calibration of equipment and stock of spare parts-Hands-on approach to resolve issues on site using electrical equipment and tools-Knowledge of Huawei string inverters and fusion solar application-Perform duties as an Authorized Person to 33kV, which involve generating documents like Limit for Access (LOA), Switching Schedules and switching under the previous authorization of the Control Engineer.
