Longmont Public Media is a nonprofit public access tv station and media makerspace devoted to the education, production, and distribution of local media that matters-Co-founded, launched, ran, and grew a media makerspace, a facility with content creation studios and equipment, to over 700 members and ~$400K in revenue-Designed and implemented internal operational processes across HR, operations, IT, finance, fundraising, and other organizational functions-Was the primary representative of the organization to its members, public, community groups, City of Longmont staff, and local elected officials-Oversaw staff, created a welcoming and inclusive environment, fostered an active base of content creators/members, and worked with the BOD to create and implement a long term strategy that will maximize our sustainability and community impact.
