ABOUT SERGIO LIMON
I have been working in the Oil & Gas pipeline industry for more than 26 years, and during that time I have advised pipeline owners and operators in USA and internationally in the areas of measuring, analyzing, predicting, and verifying the structural integrity performance of energy pipelines. My technical expertise resides on fatigue and fracture with emphasis on how pipelines fracture in the presence of cracks, seam weld anomalies and dents.Alongside the technical things, I have a passion for empowering others through knowledge sharing and dedication to mentorship. Collaborating with peers is something I enjoy as well as organizing public forums and meetings inviting experts to address relevant industry subjects. I am comfortable teaching as this provides opportunities to meet others personally and share knowledge. I have been teaching for 8 years a technical course on managing pipelines with cracking and seam weld anomalies to international participants.
