Assisting from presales through to delivery, my main duties include aligning customer requirementsand vision to designed outputs for delivery by the delivery teams I oversee.In a nutshell, I perform the analysis and design of business solutions using technologies across theMicrosoft 365 and Power Platform stack, such as SharePoint, Power Apps (Canvas and ModelDriven), Dataverse and Power Automate. Once designed, I am responsible for allocating andmanaging the task delivery of the implementation, then acting as the technical manager for thedelivery of the solution and act as a support mechanism for the delivery team from a technicalstandpoint. Occasionally I am also the implementation consultant where required.I am responsible for creating and adhering to best practice across projects and technologies and formanaging project gates as projects pass from stage to stage. Projects at TSG run in sprints with timeper sprint allocated to myself to oversee the delivery of the project from the consultancy anddevelopment teams as required.As part of my role in performing the solution analysis and then providing the solution architectureand overall design, I select the best tools available for the job from my technology space and/oradvise/collaborate with other technology architects from different areas such as Dynamics 365, etc.This accounts for around 25% of my time with another 15% time spent mentoring and being thetechnical manager for the consultancy team of consultants who perform project delivery tasks. Theremaining 60% of my time is primarily spent doing presales alongside a member of the sales teamwhereby I provide the technical knowledge, create and demonstrate proof of concepts etc. andcalculate a ROM for project sale ahead of a full analysis and design being completed.
