ABOUT SERGIO GAUDIO
His current research activity is on gravitational waves, data analysis and theoretical models of Core Collapse supernovae within the Supernovae group at Ligo. Previously he worked on breathing motion modeling and its clinical applications at UCLA, 3D computer graphics and vision tools development and applications and parallel computing. His earlier career research interest were in condensed matter physics, mainly on superfluidity and superconductivity. Afterward, he was involved in the IGNITOR international effort towards the production of energy through nuclear fusion. This diverse experience makes him a resourceful professional with demonstrated skills to combine extensive scientific training with hands-on practical experience to produce results across several distinct domains. He has a proven track record, recognized at international level, as a participant and leader of highly effective teams, by bringing together people from different fields, in research and development projects.Extensive bibliography of published work and public addresses validate the unique ability to quickly acquire and apply expertise in a variety of fields.
