Sergio Aguilar is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group in Miami, FL. Mr. Aguilar has vast experience advising clients on domestic and cross-border transactions in Europe and Latin America. Mr. Aguilar specializes in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence in the following industries: manufacturing, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, business services, education services and chemicals.Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Aguilar was a Senior Manager within Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services. While at Ernst & Young, he advised on numerous private equity and corporate transactions for both large US and European clients in industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, BPOs, automotive, and utilities. In addition, Mr. Aguilar was part of Ernst & Young’s Divestiture Advisory Services practice. Mr. Aguilar earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and is fluent in Spanish and English.
