Do you know what I get excited about? Operations effectiveness and operational efficiency, especially operations across the supply chain, including warehousing, distribution centers, cross-docks. Over the course of my 20-year career, I\'ve worked for leading logistics providers handling all modes of transportation, including ocean freight, ground transport, air delivery, and multi-modal logistics.I enjoy taking on the difficult business challenges that others tend to shy away from, and working with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions that make the leadership team and the end customer take notice. I have considerable experience in both union and non-union environments and am considered a clear, open communicator across the organization. My exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, and KPI management tools has enabled me to deliver meaningful change at every role in my career.I have a truly international background, having received my formal education in the Ukraine, customs training in Australia, quality and transportation training in Europe, and have worked in Canada, Europe and Asia in the global logistics economy.
