At the beginning of 2021 Vivid has started a new business line - Crypto, providing the ability to buy and sell cryptocurrencies within the app. My responsibilities are- making architecture decisions and cross-department communication- hiring of new employees (developers, manual and automated QAs)- communication with partners and exploring external APIs- people management (360 and performance reviews, 1-1) and creation of the best working atmosphere within the team- preparation of task scopes and road maps- validation of technical decisions and code review- discussion and evaluation of business ideas with stakeholders- quality, deadlines and features delivery- leading and mentoring of software engineers- sharing of technical decisions with other teams. There are currently 20+ members in the team.(BA, PMs, Analysts and System Analysts, Mobile and Backend developers, QAs and AQAs, Designers, Problem Manager) Current achievement: we successfully launched the Crypto app in less then 2.5 months. Stack: Golang, Microservices, AWS, Helm, Kubernetes, Istio, Kafka, GRPC, Postgres, Gitlab, Docker, Youtrack, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
