ABOUT SEREY SINN
I am an executive leader with a proven track record of driving transformational growth, operational excellence, and innovative service delivery across both the nonprofit and legal sectors. Over more than two decades, I have built organizations, empowered teams, and led high-impact initiatives that strengthen communities and expand access to essential services. My career began in the nonprofit sector, where I held leadership positions in marketing, fundraising, and strategic development, including leading a $60M capital campaign at the University of Calgary and overseeing provincial fundraising for the Arthritis Society of BC. During this time, I earned a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University (Minnesota) and served on multiple nonprofit boards. After supporting the launch of Crossroads Law in 2017, I joined the firm as Chief Operations Officer, where I led transformative improvements to business operations, team culture, and scalable systems. During this period, Crossroads Law grew rapidly and has been recognized on Business in Vancouver’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies list, The Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies list, and as a Canadian Law Awards Excellence Awardee for Family Law Firm of the Year for multiple, consecutive years. In parallel, I oversaw the development and launch of Coach My Case - an alternative legal services model designed to empower self-represented litigants through accessible, affordable legal support. As the company transitions into a technology-enabled platform, my role is evolving from day-to-day leadership responsibilities into a broader strategic and advisory mandate focused on vision, partnerships, and marketing.Grounded in a deep commitment to community impact, I continue to serve and support local nonprofits, including as a member of the Access Pro Bono of BC board of directors. My leadership approach is grounded in collaboration, empowerment and an unwavering focus on building inclusive, values-driven teams. As a former national level athlete and coach of the BC Karate team, I bring a coaching mindset to developing people and helping teams reach their highest potential.
