About Serena Lin
Serena is a rising junior at the Pingry School based in NJ. Beyond her academic career, she is a teen social entrepreneur, human rights advocate, graphic designer, social justice artist, public speaker, and debater. She is passionate about all things youth activism, whether it be racial equality, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, or sustainability. She is a driven youth with a passion for social impact and innovation and talents for design, mobilizing ~700 youth, hosting UN-affiliated events, running a webinar for high school age changemakers for Learning Planet Institute’s Global Education Festival, and launching numerous leadership and social entrepreneurship programs/camps as the founder of Youth United. Additionally, she is working to provide a unicorn tech solution to online teen predation as the Co-Founder/CMO of Hawkeye App Inc, securing in grants and reaching As an advocate for sustainability, she also founded a Thrift Store initiative, enabling 700+ clothing swaps to reduce local textile waste. As a friend of UNWOD, she has attended both the 2023 and 2024 conferences as a youth delegate while hosting the UNWOD ‘24 Art Exhibition. Looking ahead, Serena is eager to deepen her impact on issues of justice and social equality by empowering youth advocacy, advancing equitable tech solutions, and promoting safer, more sustainable communities worldwide.
