About Serena Diliberti
I recently finished my Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the University of Minnesota in the Douglas group. My doctoral work research involved the development of asymmetric cyanoamidation and defluorination methods in the synthesis of natural products and small molecules.I am a co-founder of the MidWest Chapter of EWOC (Empowering Women in Organic Chemistry) and I am excited to continue to help EWOC as an organization grow.One of my greatest interests is exploring the world. I enjoy traveling to other countries and learning about different cultures. With my Ph.D. in hand, I plan to work in a role that is as adventurous as my future travels around the world will be. I am actively seeking roles in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and agricultural industries.
