Convene a council of representatives of transportation operators, funders, providers and advocates across an 8 county region who work together to fill in gaps of transportation services for older adults, people with disabilities and low-income individuals.• Support administration of federal grants of $1-2M annually, providing opportunities for agencies to apply for vehicles, operations, preventative maintenance and mobility management. • Established the Miami Valley Age-Friendly Network in partnership with The Dayton Foundation Encore Fellowship program, which has helped 15 communities across the Miami Valley join the national age-friendly network. • Implemented a multi-year grant program of $100K annually to encourage communities in the Miami Valley Region to join the AARP Age-Friendly States and Communities.• Co-lead the development of the Miami Valley\'s first Active Transportation Plan which ensures the region will provide opportunity for safe and equitable transportation options for walking, biking and transit access.• In partnership with area agencies, assisted with securing $1M grant to address remote learning needs in Montgomery County during the Coronavirus shutdown.
