I’m currently a lead engineer for the US controls team for Packsize. My team is responsible for multiple PLC platforms including Codesys, Siemens and BnR. I am learning how to lead a high performance team that has to integrate their controls platform with our Packnet software. The strong emphasis in IoT 4.0 has enabled me to learn many technologies associated with high speed industrial manufacturing. In my previously roles, I’ve been fortunate to work for a small system integrator, a US based dental supply manufacturer and now a world class on demand packaging company. I’ve learned to program PLC in Allen Bradley, Codesys, TwinCAT and BnR. These experiences could be summarized as following: controls system is about logic timing and future proof development mindset.
