About Seran G.
As a civil rights lawyer, I am dedicated to advocating for justice and equality in the legal system. I am most energized by legal issues involving statutory or constitutional interpretation. Because of my subject matter expertise in linguistics, I am able to interpret statutes and the Constitution using a range of technical approaches, including computational linguistics, syntactic theory, formal semantics, pragmatics, and discourse analysis. These tools allow me to provide empirical support for proposed interpretations of legal texts.

Established new partnerships with organizations that serve diverse communities and interests to facilitate TLDEF\'s increasing involvement in new areas of legal and policy advocacy.
