About Sascha E. Quartey
If I can help somebody… is the motto that drives Sascha E. Quartey’s daily work as an instructional leader with 10 years of experience in elementary, early childhood, and community education. Sascha currently serves the Omaha Public Schools as the Early Childhood Teaching and Learning Consultant (Curriculum Supervisor). There she specializes in serving the youngest, loving those who serve them and empowering those she encounters daily. She’s truly passionate about building equitable classrooms where all learners excel. She is dedicated to all learners and works tirelessly to ensure each achieves excellence through solution driven, high-quality learning. Throughout her journey as an educator, including custodial team member, paraprofessional, teacher, and instructional leader - three areas have remained at the forefront of her service - partnerships with communities, equity for all, and safety at the center. She knows that all children deserve to grow in an educational environment that allows them to grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially Sascha holds Bachelor’s of Science from her beloved alma-mater Lincoln University in Missouri, one of two HBCUs in Missouri. She also holds a Masters of Science in Elementary Education with emphasis in Early Childhood Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Arizona. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Nebraska-Omaha where her studies center around The #BlackGrilMagic of Educational Leadership.
