Senthil is a results-driven Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in New Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, and Value Engineering across the medical device and consumer appliance industries. He brings deep expertise in Six Sigma, Reliability Engineering, and Project Management, leveraging these tools to drive technical excellence, accelerate product development, and solve complex engineering challenges. Recognized for hands-on leadership, strategic problem-solving, and delivering high-impact, cost-effective solutions in highly regulated environments.Currently at Mammotome, a Danaher operating company, Senthil leads Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for a Class II medical device within a major New Product Development initiative. He collaborates with Systems Engineering, Product Quality, and Regulatory teams to develop and execute V&V strategies for both consumables and capital equipment. His responsibilities include test planning, test method development, and executing reliability tests such as life demonstration and stress testing. He also manages third-party lab testing for environmental exposure, MRI compatibility, transit simulation, and IEC-60601 compliance.In previous roles at Johnson & Johnson MedTech (Ethicon), Senthil led V&V efforts for surgical staplers. His focus included injection mold qualification, assembly line validation, and in-depth failure analysis to support manufacturing scale-up and product robustness. His ability to blend technical depth with regulatory insight allowed him to deliver highly reliable solutions in compliance with FDA and ISO standards.Prior to entering the medical device field, Senthil served in key design engineering roles in the consumer appliance industry. At Whirlpool and General Electric, he led the design and development of washer and dryer structural components for mass production, focusing on manufacturability, cost, and performance. At Cornelius Beverage Technologies, he directed the mechanical design of cup dispensing systems as part of the Next Generation Automatic Dispenser project, aligning product innovation with customer and market needs.Outside of work, Senthil is a passionate value investor with interests in macroeconomics, global trade, and logistics.
