Promoted and transferred to Houston Remote Operations Center as MWD / LWD Remote Operations Engineer to provide service excellence and high-quality products to customers while working remotely from the wellsite, leading the field crew and supervising wellsite MWD / LWD operations at 4 different Deepwater drilling rigs simultaneously. Responsibilities:•Mentoring, training and assessing competencies of a team of 8 to 10 Junior Engineers and Trainee Engineers.•Providing operational support in the planning and execution of new wells, quality control of well log dataand petrophysical analysis of the data acquired.•Collaborating with cross-discipline teams and third party vendors in drilling, completions, productionoperations, finance and subsurface to ensure safe and reliable delivery of Logging While Drilling (LWD)services.•Communicating subsurface uncertainties and risks associated with operations and petrophysical analysis.Key Achievements:•Selected as the Lead Remote MWD / LWD Engineer to help client Equinor (Formerly Statoil) to drill its longest well ever (Monument) in the Deepwater Offshore US Gulf of Mexico. Despite the complex nature of the well location, extremely tight drilling margins, persistent adverse weather conditions, COVID-19 challenges, and supply chain issues, successfully drilled the well to a total depth of 34,145 ft MD, 18.8 days under budget.•Remote StethoScope Engineer for the World first fully remote LWD Formation Pressure Testing acquisition with No LWD Engineer offshore - only 1 DD to supervise BHA. Critical pressure characterization for reservoir connectivity & compartmentalization analysis after wireline conveyed formation tester could not get down. 39 pretest program over ft MD, 87% seal success.•Completed training and achieved advanced competencies for following tools / services:o IriSphere (Look Ahead While Drilling)o MagniSphere (High Definition Slimhole Nuclear Magnetic Resonance While Drilling)
