ABOUT SENECA THORNLEY WASHUTA

I’m an experienced leader of people, with a focus on driving innovation of supply chain and operations for General Mills. With 6 years of experience, integrated deep in process improvement, operations and engineering roles, my foundational knowledge is built on tenets of data, process, leadership, agility and growth. I am energized by a purpose-driven environment, delivering measurable results, while developing others and having fun doing it. By diving deep into the manufacturing process, troubleshooting on the fly alongside peers and direct reports, it enables me to truly enact change for better. Every day looks different, but I love the role I play making food that people love.Skilled in complex spreadsheet creation and maintenance, as well as database management and data analysis, I’m able to translate and communicate outputs effectively to leadership, bridging the gap between the day-to-day processes and strategic planning. Problem solving comes naturally to me, because I’m passionate about what I do. I fall in love with the problems our organization faces, and through strategic planning, critical thinking, and bringing the right people along, I’m always looking for ways to make our operators’ and technicians’ lives better, and our processes most efficient. I believe in using my voice for good, leading with empathy, and building trust amongst others to drive innovation.
